Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge?

When working with a new client, I like to propose a menu of options for how I can help. This usually includes a couple of potential project ideas, along with a timeline and a proposed fee for each. I’m also open to working by the hour depending on the scope of the project.

What is co-design?

Co-Design is a collaborative design approach that invites stakeholders – or the people who will be most impacted – to contribute and share their personal experiences and knowledge alongside the people who will be making the decisions (staff and leadership). This creates more relevant, effective and satisfying solutions based on the collective wisdom of everyone involved.

Is your name really “Park”?

Yes. It’s my middle name. My first name is Eugene. I’ve gone by Park my entire life. It’s not short for anything (i.e. Parker, Parks) and it has nothing to do with the T.V. show Parker Lewis Can’t Lose.

Why do you have so many cats (and what are their names)?

That’s a long story for another time, but their names are Güs, Okra, Persi and Pepper and if you are lucky you make catch a glimpse of them if we meet via Zoom.

What do you like about flying kites?

So much! I find it incredibly relaxing and I love that it can provoke joy and invites conversation. I’ve been flying kites for about 3 years now and it’s one of my very favorite things to do with my wife, Katie. If you’d like to fly a kite with me, please let me know and we can make that happen.
