“Tell me about your work . . .”
Over the years, I’ve found it hard to describe what I do, but the through line is a commitment to a “human-centered" process.
I start all of my projects by designing spaces and opportunities to listen, without assumption, to the people who will be most impacted by the results — community members, stakeholders, users, customers, team members, etc.
I’m especially interested in involving people who are typically pushed aside or left out of the design process. I believe that when you start with empathy and inclusion there is a greater possibility for an outcome that makes people feel seen, considered, and valued.
Included below are some examples of the projects I’ve produced, programs I’ve launched, and collaborative projects I’ve developed and co-designed with community members and stakeholders.

An insight recap from a co-design session I facilitated with a group of older men about love and relationships in later life. This work occurred during my time at Alive Ventures, a startup studio focused on the needs of later life and research related to the development of a dating product for older adults.
I joined 53 Groups for Caregivers and this is what I learned. . .
A “thought-scribble” that started as a client project and morphed into a summary of my experience looking for resources to support my role as a future caregiver.
